Sally is a former Wisconsinite who loves to create whimsical, intricate and wildly colorful hand-painted pieces of art from natural gourds as well as objects found at flea markets, garage sales and antique shops. Nothing is off-limits as long as she has a vision and the price is right. She is mostly self-taught, having taken only one art class which taught her the basics of acrylic painting. Sally takes much of her inspiration from the colors and shapes of the native and Mexican cultures of the desert Southwest. Since retiring in 2017, she has devoted more time to her artwork and looks forward to being more active in the art community.
Hard at work in her studio.
