Jean Hudson

​​I  recently joined AOPH after moving to Las Cruces in 2025.   After dabbling in many different media, mostly drawing and some acrylic painting, I began taking formal oil painting classes at NMSU last year.   It's a media that had both intimidated and intrigued me.   While following the school's formal criteria, I'm looking to formulate my own style and subject matter while refining technique.   My favorite and inspirational artists include Hopper, Homer and Van Gogh.
