The Artists of Picacho Hills was founded in 2008 by artists living in the Picacho Hills Community with a shared interest in promoting the arts. Together they launched Art in the Garden, now an annual event every May showcasing artwork, and landscaping in the western corner of Las Cruces. The organization also puts together a fall show titled Holly Day House featuring between 15 to 20 of our artists.

 

Our mission is to provide our members' support and networking opportunities in the local artists' community. The artisans in our group work in many different mediums to include painting, sculpture, jewelry, photography, woodworking, textile, quilting, and multimedia. We like to share our skills with each other with demonstrations, workshops and plien air events.  Artists of Picacho Hills is open to all residents who create original artwork and have an interest in being part of the group.

 

Dues are $35.00 a year.
