Art has been a part of Peggy’s life since early childhood. Growing up on a farm, years of traveling the world, many moves and raising a family, has had a strong influence on her work.
Mostly self-taught, lots of trial and error, workshops, lessons, and art theory have honed Peggy’s talents. Nature travels and historic buildings have provided inspiration for the majority of her work.
The years of traveling the U.S. doing art shows and owning an art gallery has contributed dramatically to her talents.
After Peggy and her husband moved to Las Cruces in 2004, Western and Native American subjects have had a significant impact on Peggy’s subject matter. She continues to learn and grow and looks forward to what’s next.
